I'm from Canada! My hometown is New Hamburg. It is a small town
about one hour away from Toronto, Canada's biggest city.

Providence College in Manitoba, Canada

in Taipei?
I've been in Taipei since August 2003.

First Years
1. Here I am at just a few months
old. You can see my brother Thomas in the background. See how happy
he is to be my big brother :-)
2. Look it's me! I'm already walking! This was
taken during a family visit to Germany.
3. I already liked to act as a young girl. Putting
on glasses made me feel like a teacher :-)
4. This picture was taken when I started kindergarten.
Look how happy I was about starting school! And yes, my hair was
straight. My hair was curly when I was really young and then it
became straight. It got curly again when I was a teenager. It has
been curly since then.

Family
1. My dear parents, Christian
and Irma. I appreciate their continued love and support. My parents
visited me in Taiwan in 2004. Now they know why I like it here
so much!
2. My nephews, Christian and Jonah. Christian
is 6 years old, and Jonah is 4 years old. They are growing so quickly!
I just love these little guys. And I love being an Aunt!

What is your favorite sport?
My favorite sport is swimming. I could swim all day! My favorite
winter sport is skiing. I like playing in the snow!
What do you like to do
in your free time?
I like to be outside in my free time! There is so much of God's
creation to discover and explore. Here in Taipei I love to go hiking.
I always meet people; sometimes I even meet students! I also like
to go shopping, e-mail family and friends, and go on little day
trips. Spending time with my friends is also very important. My
heart needs that!
What is your idea of a
perfect day?
A perfect day is day filled with all of my favorite things.
If you could live anywhere
in the world, where would you want to live and why?
I'd like to live on a tropical island. I could go swimming every
day, eat fresh fruit, and enjoy the sunshine!
What animal are you most
like and why?
I'm most like a rabbit. I like to hop around and eat vegetables!

Future
What are your dreams for the future?
I look forward to the dream of getting married and having my own
family. I would love to be a wife and a mom.
What is one goal you have
for the future?
I'd like to travel and see as much of the world as possible. Traveling
is one of the best textbooks to learn more about culture, people
and myself.
Who is one person that
you would really like to meet one day?
I'd like to meet David Tao. I really admire his faith and how he
uses his gifts for God's glory.
What do you want to be
in the future?
Teaching on Let's Talk in English is truly a dream come true. In
the future I'd like to keep teaching, learning, and challenging
students to be the best they can be!
