March 4
Do you want healthy hair? Take care of it! You should wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Wash it two or three times a week. Put a little shampoo at the top of your head when you wash it. And use conditioner only on the ends of your hair. Dry your hair with a towel or use a hair dryer. But don’t use high heat. Brush or comb your hair when it’s dry. Brushing wet hair breaks the hair.
Conversation A
(in the Jungle Café)
Susie: Hey, James. Your hair looks very nice today.
James: Thanks, Susie. I used a new shampoo and conditioner.
Susie: Oh, really?
James: And I started to wash my hair in a different way.
Susie: A different way?
James: Yes. I use less shampoo now. I put it on the top of my head.
Susie: Does that really make a difference?
James: It does for my hair!
Conversation B
Susie: What else do you do?
James: I dry my hair in a different way.
Susie: How? I just use a towel.
James: I use warm air from the hair dryer first then cool air.
Susie: Then you’re done?
James: No. Then I comb my hair.
Susie: That sounds like so much work.
James: Not really. My hair is short.
Susie: So is mine. Maybe I’ll try that.
